The exhibition pays homage to Cesare Colombo, an important photographer of the Italian twentieth century, historian, critic, curator of important exhibitions since the post-war period, animator of debates, which have contributed to the significant growth of photographic culture in Italy. The exhibition presents over one hundred photographs from 1952 to 2012 dedicated to the city of Milan and its many cultural, economic, political and social aspects. A vivid biographical account of the Lombard metropolis, along sixty years of urban development, transformations of work, changes in the social fabric.
